Oak & Ember was born from a desire to reimagine the classic cigar lounge merging the timeless charm of vintage sophistication with the intimacy and warmth of a modern gathering space.
Before a single brick is laid or a chair is set in place, Oak & Ember exists in the mind’s eye. You can see it the amber glow reflecting off polished wood, the curl of cigar smoke rising in the air, the soft hum of jazz cradling every conversation. This is more than a lounge; it’s a feeling, an atmosphere, a story waiting to unfold.
The Challange
The cigar lounge experience is often imagined as closed-off or reserved for a select few. Our challenge was to reframe that vision to create a concept that feels both refined and deeply welcoming. Oak & Ember needed to hold its luxury while inviting a diverse audience to step inside and instantly feel, “Yes… this is my place.”
Close your eyes. You can hear the ice clink in your glass, feel the plush leather against your palm, smell the toasted spice of a perfectly aged cigar. Every element of Oak & Ember is designed to live first in the imagination and then come to life exactly as you pictured it.

We started by painting the picture in vivid detail, designing a brand that clients and guests could see, hear, and taste before the first guest ever walked through the door.
Visual Storytelling
